Welcome to our monthly newsletter! March was an exciting month with the Balinese Day Of Silence and our 27th anniversary, and now in April, we have the holy month of Ramadhan to honour, followed by Idul Fitr towards the end of April as well as an egg-citing Easter!

Prime Plaza Suites Sanur’s 27th Anniversary Celebration
On the 16th of March 2023, we celebrated our 27th anniversary. To commemorate this incredible milestone, we held a blood donation drive with Red Cross Indonesia, organised a beach clean-up with our team members and held a celebratory dinner to thank all of our staff for all their hard work and dedication.
The blood drive was held at our sister hotel, Prime Plaza Hotel Sanur which was attended by all of our staff, partners and some of our guests. It was a great success with 29 bags of blood collected! Donors were treated to a delicious buffet of freshly prepared food and drinks and took fun photos at the photo booth with props.
At the beach cleanup, we successfully collected plastics and non-organic trash, which we handed over to the city council for further recycling and processing. All of our team members participated, and together, we cleaned all the major beaches of Sanur from Pantai Karang, all the way to Mertasari Beach.
The celebratory staff dinner will be held on April 3, 2023 and our staffs have the opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy a wide array of mouthwatering food and drinks courtesy of our Head Chef. Outstanding staff members who have been working for 10 years or more will be awarded gifts and tokens of appreciation by the management of Prime Plaza Hotels & Resorts.
We’d like to thank all of our beloved guests, partners and friends for their dedication and loyalty and for making this 27th anniversary possible. We can’t wait to celebrate another 27 years and more with you!

Ramadhan Breakfasting Package at Prime Plaza Suites Sanur
Ramadhan, the holiest Muslim month of the year, is finally here and we’re delighted to welcome it with our exciting Ramadhan Breakfasting Package.
Throughout the month, Muslims will be fasting from dawn to dusk. The breaking of fast would typically occur during sundown. With the package, guests can enjoy a wide selection of Ta’jil - also known as sweet snacks that are traditionally consumed during Ramadhan - soups, vegetables and a main course.
Selections of Ta’jil include Indonesian favourites like Tempe Mendoan, Mini Spring Rolls, Banana Fritters, sweet drinks and desserts. Soups available include Bakso, Tom Yam and Soto, plus a wide variety of Indonesian-style vegetables and Main Courses that will please all palates from Fried Chicken and Opor Ayam to Spicy Squid, Chicken Teriyaki, Chili Prawns, Beef Black Pepper and so much more.
Our Breakfasting Package is priced at only IDR 125,000 nett per person and is available from 23 March to 22 April 2023. The package comes included with white rice, mie goreng, Indonesian crackers, sambal, dates, fresh fruits and mineral water.

Things To Do: Bali Bird Park
The Bali Bird Park is a fantastic option if you’re looking for a fun day out for the whole family. The park is so much more than just an aviary for birds; it is, in fact, a beautiful nature sanctuary that sprawls over 2000 sqm of lush green land. Located in verdant Gianyar just an hour away from Prime Plaza Suites Sanur, the Bali Bird Park is home to approximately 250 species of birds from Indonesia, Africa, Latin America, and Australia and over 2000 species of indigenous plants.
The park is divided into seven “areas”, which were all designed to recreate the birds’ natural habitats. Guests can “travel” through the jungles of Sumatra and Papua to discover the native birds from these regions, as well as South American exotics such as the Golden Macaw and the Congo Grey Parrot from the African Savannah. There are also educational bird shows, feeding activities and plenty of opportunities for great photographs!
Bali Bird Park works closely with the local government to protect and conserve Indonesia’s endangered wildlife with a successful bird breeding programme for a large number of bird species, in particular the endangered Bali Starling (Jalak Bali) and the rare Pesquet’s Parrot.
