1. Sanur Beach

Sanur Beach is about 30 minutes’ drive from Bali International airport to the east. Besides catching the sunrise, you can also take a morning stroll along the white sandy beach or cycling. With low tide and calm wave, Sanur Beach is also one of the best beaches in Bali for swimming. Restaurants, shops and coffee shops are lining along the beach.

2. Mount Batur.

Mount Batur is the 3rd highest mountain in Bali. Standing 1717 meters above the sea level, Mount Batur is hikers’ favourite spot to catch sunrise. During the fine weather, most of the times you will witness cotton candy clouds float surround and below the mountain as the sun rises. Hikers call it the magical hours. On the road that leads to the starting point of the mountain, you will find insta-worthy cafes and restaurants with the mountain as the back drop. If you are not a fan of mountain hiking, you can also catch the sunrise from one of these cafes.

3. Lovina Beach.

Lovina Beach in located in Buleleng Regency, North of Bali. It is about 2 hours and 25 minutes drive from Bali airport. The best way to catch sunrise at Lovina Beach is to rent a traditional boat and sail to the sea and you will be welcomed by a group of dolphins! This makes Lovina Beach different from other beaches in Bali.

Bali Governor and General Director of Indonesia’s Transportation Ministry (Dirjen Kemenhub RI) launched Trans Metro Dewata Bus on September 7, 2020. Trans Metro Dewata is a Bus Rapid Transit system that is planned to change the societies dependent on private vehicle. This also an action plan from the government to reduce traffic in Denpasar. In total there are 105 brand new bus operated, divided into four bus routes (corridors).

At the moment one corridor that’s operating from Ngurah Rai Stadium (Denpasar) - Ngurah Rai International Airport. The other three corridors will be operating soon channelling some cities in Bali: Pesiapan Bus station in Tabanan – Kuta Central Park, Sanur Beach – Dalung (North of Kuta) and Ubung bus station (Denpasar) – Kuta Central Park – Ubud Monkey Forest, vice versa. All the buses service is free of charge until December 2020.
