Balinese Night: A Family Cultural Celebration

As soon as you arrive, our team welcomes every guest, from grandparents to the little ones, with an udeng (traditional Balinese headpiece for the gentlemen) and a senteng (traditional Balinese sash). It's a small gesture with a big heart, a piece of Bali guests can wear all evening and take home afterwards as a keepsake of the night.

Guests are welcome to start exploring the buffet as soon as they're seated, a generous spread of traditional Balinese dishes rich with island spices, fresh local ingredients, and signature flavours passed down through generations. From comforting soups to fragrant grilled specialties and sweet traditional treats, every dish tells a story of Bali's culinary heritage.

While the feast unfolds, the evening opens with a gentle introduction to Balinese dance, where our dancers invite guests of all ages, including the children, to learn a few simple movements together. It's a playful, judgment-free way for the whole family to feel the rhythm of Bali up close.

The performances that follow take guests on a journey through three iconic Balinese dances. The night opens with the graceful Tari Puspanjali, a traditional welcome dance. Next comes the powerful Tari Baris, showcasing the strength and spirit of Balinese warrior tradition. The evening reaches its liveliest peak with Tari Joget, where parents and children alike are invited onto the floor to dance alongside the performers, turning dinner into a joyful, shared celebration.
